Return & Refund Policy
Fair refunds keep trust, and trust keeps students — so this policy is written to be read, not buried. It applies to all courses sold by ClearSpeak Education Sdn. Bhd. and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
The cooling-off window
If you cancel within seven days of paying and before your second lesson, you receive a full refund, no questions asked. One attended lesson is on us — we would rather you tried the class properly than hesitated at the door.
Withdrawing after the window
Group courses: withdraw before the midpoint of the term and we refund the remaining whole weeks, less a RM 150 administration fee. After the midpoint, fees for the current term are no longer refundable, but we will gladly transfer you to a different group or level at no charge if the fit was the problem.
1-to-1 packages: unused hours are refundable in full, less RM 150 administration, at any time within six months of purchase. Individual sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice return to your package; later cancellations forfeit the session.
If we cancel
Where ClearSpeak cancels a course before it starts, or cannot deliver a course we have begun, you choose between a full refund of all unused fees or a credit of equal value towards any other programme — the administration fee is never charged when the cancellation is ours.
Medical and compassionate cases
With a medical certificate or in serious personal circumstances, we freeze your enrolment for up to six months and restart it when you are ready, whatever point the term has reached. Where restarting is impossible, we refund the unused portion in full.
Materials and exam fees
Printed course materials, once issued, are yours and are not returnable. External examination fees (IELTS, Cambridge, MUET and similar) are set and collected by the examining bodies and follow their refund rules, which we will help you navigate.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back by the original payment method within fourteen working days. Email [email protected] with your name, course and enrolment date to start a request — the centre manager reviews all of them personally.
